A New Release I Won’t be Reading

Donald Trump’s newly released book.

I don’t know about you, but I haven’t bought into the notion that America isn’t a great country. There are plenty of problems facing the country, but does he really think he’s got the answers to questions facing the country as a whole, and especially the Oval Office? Because I don’t. And I don’t think any one person has all the answers.

I’ve mentioned before that I’ve never read political books, and it’s safe to say I won’t be starting with Trump’s.

Are you interested in reading about this crippled America he claims to know how to make great again?

  1. No. Not really. At all. Ever.

  2. Not this book, no. _The Art of the Deal_ is as far as I go.

  3. No, I never read political books, either. As far as I’m concerned, they all belong in the horror section.

  4. I won’t be reading. I think the only thing he said that was worth listening to is that people are fed misinformation by the media and politicians are bad, but I don’t think that’s really news to anyone. I think no one is really as informed as they should be, even those really smart people who are very informed. Otherwise, he’s a jerk and he reminds me of all of the grumpy old patients who march through my day job. They complain and act like they have all the answers, but really they’re just blowing smoke.

    • That may be the only factual thing he’s said this entire campaign so far. But even with Congress viewed so poorly, I still don’t throw them all under a blanket statement by saying they’re bad. There are some politicians who really want to do as much for the people as they can. And there are others who want to stay in office as long as possible.

  5. I feel like it would be an interesting book to read simply for the ridiculousness that is Trump. However, one would actually have to commit to reading the book and I feel like there are more important things in life, like watching grass grow or paint dry…

  6. I rarely read political books, but I do read quite a lot about politics in general. I don’t believe America is ‘crippled’. We have a good many problems, that’s for certain but Mr. Trump, nor any of the others in either party have all the answers.

  7. Where is grumpy cat when you need her. “No.” That’s all I can really say. (well, that and I 100% agree with you regarding Trump and all his delusions)
