Today is January 1st. Which means my 2016 Reading Challenge is officially underway! I have way more people participating than I thought would, which means one heck of a competition.
But wait, are you sitting there reading this with no idea what I’m talking about? Then let me refer you to this post. You’ll find all the information you need to participate.
Good luck to the rest of you participating! There could be gift cards in your future!
The first book I’ll be reading for the challenge will be The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, but I won’t tell y’all which bullet it’ll be fulfilling. Ha!
Don’t forget to tag me on here or on Instagram whenever you finish a book from the challenge! I’ll be able to Like and comment easier that way.
So without further delay, may the odds be ever in your favor. What’s going to be your first book for the challenge?
Since I just started a new YA book yesterday, that’ll be the first one I’ll probably finish on my challenge. However, since I read multiple books at one time, if I need a break from the first book, I might pick up a second. I already know which ones will be hardest for me, which are autobiography, and a book by a celebrity. All the others are completely doable.

I read multiple books too!

Thank you!!!! Not many people get how/why I do this, so I’m so relieved I’m not alone! 🙂

Yep. The celebrity and autobiography ones are two that I don’t already have books for. But I run the performing arts section at work, so I can easily find something in my section or elsewhere. I think.

I’m sure you will. I just need to troll Goodreads to see which celebrity’s book I can stomach.

Hahaha! There’s gotta be something.

I found a few already. I’ll try and get both the celebrity and autobiography books read soon, since they’re not my favorite genre, I want to try and knock them out quickly instead of saving them for later.

You know what I’m really liking? How many people are really setting up a plan for MY challenge. Like you are. I thought I might get five people to do it. But nope. Way more than that. This is great. 😁

Cool! Well, it was a good idea. And it’s not a ridiculous number of books or call for some obscure title or genre. Manageable and fun.

Yes! Glad you think so. 😊

It’s of course in the YA read.
I haven’t decided my books for the challenge. I do have ideas, though.
Wait! I have!
I’ll be read A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, Eragon by Christopher Paolini, The Scorch Trials by James Dashner, Landline by Rainbow Rowell, Witch and Wizard by James Patterson and Divided Within by John Guillen 😉

I actually really thought about it last night and I think I have books on my shelf to complete all of the challenge except for the celebrity, autobiography, and self-published ones. Those are some good titles. 😊 Especially the last one. 😁

And I’m currently reading a crime novel. On the verge of finishing, too. 😀

Hm. Maybe. I don’t like autobiographies and I *think* I have one. I also don’t like reading books by celebrities

I think I’ve read one autobiography. No book by a celebrity. Yikes.

I know, right?
Wait. James Patterson doesn’t count as a celebrity?

No. He’s a writer. Then any book would count.
